Alpine Group Promotes Barry Brown To Principal As Texas Expansion Continues
Promotion Reflects Three Decades of Capitol Hill Experience and Success Establishing Alpine's Dallas-Fort Worth Presence
Washington, D.C.– The Alpine Group – a bipartisan, bicameral consulting firm in Washington, D.C. and Dallas, Texas – announced today the promotion of Barry Brown to Principal. Formerly a Senior Vice President at Alpine, Brown leads the firm’s expansion into Texas. He has more than thirty years of legislative and advocacy experience having served in senior positions on Capitol Hill before joining Alpine.
As a Principal, Brown will continue to lead the Texas expansion while also helping guide the firm's strategic direction while continuing to advise clients on energy, appropriations, defense, critical infrastructure, and communications policy.

Dallas-Fort Worth is Alpine’s first office outside of Washington and under Brown’s leadership, the firm now works with 15 regional clients in Texas.
Before joining Alpine, Brown spent more than two decades on Capitol Hill. He served as Chief of Staff to both Congresswoman Kay Granger (R-TX),previous Chairwoman of the House Appropriations Committee, and Congressman Michael C. Burgess, MD (R-TX), Chairman of the House Rules Committee. He also served as Legislative Assistant to Congressman Larry Combest (R-TX), Chairman of the House Agriculture Committee, and Legislative Director to Congressman Kevin Brady (R-TX), Chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee.

Brown sits on the board of the Texas State Society of Washington, D.C., the Board of Governors of the National Republican Club of Capitol Hill, and the Executive Committee of the National Capital Area Council Boy Scouts of America.
