Mike Hogan has over 25 years of experience in the design and execution of successful legislative policy and political strategies on issues ranging from health care and insurance to energy, financial services, tax, and telecommunications.

He has worked in leadership positions for prominent members of the House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate, as well as for trade associations and his own public affairs firm. As such, Mr. Hogan has deep relationships in both houses of Congress, in the Administration, and in the political and advocacy communities.

Mr. Hogan served as deputy chief of staff for Senator Ben Nelson (D-NE). As the senior staffer in Washington for Senator Nelson, he coordinated legislative, communications, and constituent services strategies and served as the Senator’s chief political designee in Washington as well as his key liaison with other Senate chiefs of staff, the White House and the Administration.

During his tenure, Mr. Hogan was involved in negotiations on several major legislative initiatives, including TARP, stimulus (ARRA), health care reform (PPACA), and Dodd-Frank financial reform.

Named a “Top Physician Lobbyist” and “Top Association Lobbyist” by The Hill newspaper, Mr. Hogan has strong expertise in health care, energy policy, financial services, and tax and applies that knowledge to develop legislative strategy and sound tactical execution.
